I think we should up the transaction fee to 0.5%, leaving the original 0.3% for liquidity pools, but committing the extra 0.2% to the treasury to execute 1) buybacks 2) liquidity incentives 3) other general treasury stuff like paying programmers to implement new proposals and audits etc
UNI governance does not have the power to make such a change. We can only decide where the 0.05% fee goes.
0.5% is too high… this will drive traders away from Uniswap
Would be great to buy and burn UNI then with the .05%
