  • Proposal: [Temp Check] Analytics Hub for Uniswap’s Revitalization and Growth Program
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: We voted FOR this proposal. Forse has a proven track record on other protocols and the results they have provided are definitely tangible, so bringing this tool to the DAO seems trustworthy and reasonable. The budget seems feasible, but we would like to see a more detailed budget breakdown if the proposal passes. Still, we voted for it.

  • Proposal: Four Chains for Analytics Hub for Uniswap’s Revitalization and Growth Program
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: 100% Abstain
  • Reasoning: Although we voted in favor of the corresponding counterpart, we decided to abstain 100% here because we do not yet have a well-informed decision about these chains or reasons to choose one over the other. We believe that the proposal lacks important information to at least make a better decision on this issue, so we decided to abstain from this vote.

  • Proposal: Uniswap Accountability Committee S4 Elections
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: 100% for Takeshi Ohishi
  • Reasoning: Unlike the previous season, we did not split our vote this time because we are much more convinced about the candidate we support. Our vote went 100% to Takeshi. We elected him since he is the head of a team of delegates that are trusted partners for the DAO. They have lot of experience and have actively participated in our DAO as well as others. They always behave the same way in all of them, which makes them, and so Takeshi, ideal candidates for the position. Regarding the UAC position and its characteristics, we believe Takeshi best matches the UAC’s needs and tasks.

  • Proposal: Trial run a Technical Advisory Board (TAB)
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: Against
  • Reasoning: As a team, we feel the proposal for establishing a Technical Advisory Board (TAB) lacks sufficient clarity on its operational framework and effectiveness. While we appreciate the intent to incorporate expert guidance, we are concerned about potential centralization and the lack of direct accountability to the community. Additionally, our observations indicate that the current governance structure is capable of addressing technical challenges without the need for a separate advisory body. We believe that enhancing existing governance mechanisms could provide more robust solutions and better engagement with stakeholders, thus leading to more effective outcomes for the DAO.
  • Proposal: Uniswap Unichain - USDS and sUSDS Co-Incentives Growth Management Plan
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: Our team believes that the proposed Uniswap Unichain - USDS and sUSDS Co-Incentives Growth Management Plan represents a strategic opportunity for growth and sustainability within our ecosystem. We voted in favor because this initiative aims to enhance the liquidity and efficiency of our products, ultimately benefiting users and fostering broader adoption.
As a group, we feel that the plan’s structured approach to co-incentives can catalyze further development within the DeFi space, and it aligns with our long-term goals of maximizing user engagement and utility.
We acknowledge the potential challenges that may arise but are optimistic that the benefits significantly outweigh the risks. This decision reflects our collective aspiration to ensure that our platform remains competitive and forefront in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Proposal: [TEMP CHECK] - Etherlink Co-incentives Proposal
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: Approve $150k of Coincentives
  • Reasoning: Our team believes that the allocation of $150k in coincentives is a strategic investment into the Etherlink project, which has shown promise in its potential to enhance community engagement and drive user growth. As a group, we feel that backing initiatives like this not only supports the development of new opportunities but also positions us to navigate the evolving landscape of decentralized applications more effectively. We recognize that investing in such projects is key to maintaining our competitive edge and driving sustained growth.
  • Proposal: Uniswap Delegate Reward Initiative - Cycle 4
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: Our team believes that supporting the Uniswap Delegate Reward Initiative is essential for maintaining an engaged and effective governance structure. We voted in favor because it fairly compensates delegates for their commitment and the significant time they invest in the decision-making process, which ultimately enhances governance quality and participation. Without a robust rewards program, participation could decline further, threatening the operational health of the DAO. We see this proposal as a proactive measure to ensure continued member involvement and success in governance, and we fully endorse the revisions aimed at enhancing delegate alignment and engagement
  • Proposal: Establish Uniswap Governance as “DUNI,” a Wyoming DUNA
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: Our team believes that establishing “DUNI,” a Wyoming-registered Decentralized Unincorporated Nonprofit Association, is a pivotal step forward for the Uniswap DAO. This proposal provides a necessary legal framework that enhances our operational clarity and compliance with regulatory standards while preserving the core principles of decentralization that define our governance. We are enthusiastic about the potential of this legal entity to safeguard participant interests by offering liability protection and ensuring our decisions are recognized within the legal landscape. This structured approach will enable the DAO to operate more efficiently and confidently in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment, thus enhancing our overall competitiveness. Ultimately, as a community, we see the establishment of DUNI as a natural evolution that not only empowers our governance but also strengthens our credibility and resilience in the face of external challenges. This is a decisive moment for our DAO, and we stand in strong support of this proposal.
  • Proposal: Launching Uniswap v3 on Ronin with co-incentives
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: Our team voted in favor of deploying $500K in UNI incentives to support the launch of Uniswap v3 on the Ronin network. We believe this initiative is strategically timed, especially given Ronin’s commitment of $1M in matching RON incentives. With Ronin demonstrating strong fundamentals, it presents a promising growth opportunity for Uniswap v3. Investing in co-incentives aligns with our goal of positioning Uniswap as the primary decentralized exchange within Ronin’s gaming ecosystem. This move will not only enhance the visibility of our protocol within a flourishing network but also strategically shift liquidity away from its local DEX, Katana, fostering a healthier competitive environment. Collectively, we feel this partnership could effectively catalyze the integration of DeFi projects and users into Ronin’s vibrant ecosystem, marking an important step forward for both Uniswap and its community.

  • Proposal: Establish Uniswap Governance as “DUNI,” a Wyoming DUNA
  • Platform: Onchain - Tally
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: We reaffirm our For vote on this proposal. Our team believes that establishing Uniswap Governance as “DUNI” is a pivotal step for the DAO. By creating this legal entity, the DAO will not only navigate regulatory complexities more effectively but also unlock the potential to enable the protocol fee switch. This strategic move reinforces our commitment to strengthening governance mechanisms and ensuring long-term financial sustainability

  • Proposal: Unichain Co-Incentives Growth Management Plan
  • Platform: Onchain - Tally
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: We reaffirm our For vote on this proposal. Our team believes that the Unichain Co-Incentives Growth Management Plan represents a strategic move to strengthen Uniswap’s footprint in an increasingly competitive DeFi environment. We are encouraged by the gradual release of funds tied to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), as this ensures our investment will catalyze measurable growth. This structure not only safeguards resources but also aligns with our objective of fostering sustainable adoption.

  • Proposal: GLI — Incentivized Delegation Vaults
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: Our team believes that the introduction of Incentivized Delegation Vaults provides a timely and effective solution to the ongoing quorum challenges. By targeting both new and existing UNI holders, this proposal directly addresses the underutilization of delegable voting power, activating potential participation that has remained dormant. We voted in favor because the costs associated with this initiative are reasonable, especially considering the significant benefits of securing active engagement in governance processes. We are optimistic that this approach will stimulate active delegations and improve overall governance dynamics within the Uniswap ecosystem.

  • Proposal: GLI — Treasury delegation Round 2
  • Platform: Offchain - Snapshot
  • Vote: For
  • Reasoning: Our team believes the approval of the Treasury Delegation Round 2 is a necessary action to address the current quorum challenges facing our DAO governance. By allocating an additional 10M UNI to eligible delegates, we are significantly increasing the active voting supply, which is crucial for achieving quorum in future proposals. While we acknowledge the broader concerns regarding governance concentration, we see this measure as a critical step to establish operational functionality in the short term. Our priority remains to sustain an effective and dynamic governance framework, and this round of treasury delegation directly contributes to that objective. We support this proposal to facilitate ongoing engagement and accountability within our community.
