📢 Reminder: ethDYDX Still on Uniswap Pools – Action Required Before June 9, 2025

Hi Uniswap community :waving_hand:

My name is Mega and I’m from the Governance team at dYdX Foundation. I’m writing to inform you that, following a community governance proposal on the dYdX Chain, support for the ethDYDX-DYDX bridge (the “Bridge”) and the ability to migrate ethDYDX from Ethereum to DYDX on the dYdX Chain is expected to end on June 9, 2025.

This means that any ethDYDX not bridged before this date may permanently lose the ability to be converted to DYDX on the dYdX Chain.

We’ve noticed that there are still ~92k ethDYDX tokens held on the following Uniswap pools:

If you hold ethDYDX in one of these pools, we strongly encourage you to unwind your position and complete the migration to DYDX on the dYdX Chain before June 9, 2025.

ethDYDX lost most of its utility after dYdX Trading Inc. shut down dYdX v3 in October 2024.

It is therefore likely that ethDYDX could be rendered useless and, potentially, valueless as a consequence of the Bridge closure.

The dYdX Foundation has published a step-by-step guide with instructions on how to bridge to dYdX Chain.

Thank you for the post. We can send a notification to Oku users and individuals with LP positions in these pools to close their positions.

Hi Uniswap community, I wanted to note that an on-chain vote has been submitted to close the Bridge: https://www.mintscan.io/dydx/proposals/254

The vote will end on June 13, 2025 at 15:54 UTC. If the proposal passes, bridging within ~25 hours of the vote ending may result in ethDYDX being permanently locked in the wethDYDX contract without the user receiving DYDX on dYdX Chain.

Currently, the Uniswap pools above still hold around ~98k ethDYDX. We would encourage you to complete the bridging ASAP. Thank you for your attention!
