Reasoning: This proposal is a step forward for long-term alignment across the Uniswap ecosystem. Turning on protocol fees and introducing a unified, programmatic UNI burn mechanism creates a direct link between protocol usage and tokenholder value, while still protecting LP incentives through a phased rollout and MEV-internalising improvements like the PFDA.
The broader unification of Labs + Foundation under a single growth mandate also strengthens execution: removing interface fees, consolidating ecosystem support, and funding protocol-first development through a transparent, budgeted framework aligns all teams behind one flywheel. Combined with the retroactive burn, Unichain sequencer fee redirection, and the expansion of hook-based aggregation, the proposal sets up Uniswap to scale as the default venue for onchain liquidity.
