UAC August Personal Update
As committed during the election period, I will be regularly sharing personal updates on my experience within the UAC. These reports are intended to supplement the broader monthly updates by highlighting my individual contributions and reflections, beyond standard operational tasks.
Strategic Contributions
UAC Charter: In response to the kick-off of DUNA, I found it relevant that the UAC formalize its role, responsibilities, and positioning within the DAO. To facilitate this, I drafted the UAC charter to provide a clear picture and understanding of the UAC as one of the three core organizations within the ecosystem (along side Uniswap Labs and Uniswap Foundation).
This has been posted here for informational purposes:
GLI Proposal Draft 1: Both GLI proposals have been drafted, posted taken to snapshot, and passed temperature check. IDVs and Treasury Delegations
GLI Continuation and Delegate Outreach: In furtherance of resolving the current quorum deficit, I continued discussions in the GLI report thread and have reached out to large, but less active, delegates for contribution and support.
Deployments Brand Kit: As I’ve familiarized myself with the v3/v4 deployments process, I realized that there was brand value bleed in no requiring any visual reference to Uniswap V3 when new deployments are made. As a result, the UAC will now request ‘powered by Uniswap v3’ badging to recapture this brand awareness and user attention.
Ongoing Communication
This month, I met with several community members and groups, including the Uniswap Foundation and Blockful and Humanity teams.
As promised, I continue to stand by my open calendar policy. I want the community to understand that the UAC is accessible to them. As such, I encourage you to tap my calendar any time to discuss Uniswap matters, or simply meet and say hello!
