[Temp Check] Treasury Delegation Round 2
We voted FOR this temp check as we in principle agree with and understand the usefulness of the programme in the short to medium term. Our main concerns have been expressed here and centres largely around the belief that the DAO should do more to specify the type of delegates it wants and needs (in terms of expertise) rather than just going for whoever’s kept up the best voting statistics over x months. When companies look to expand, they hire based on expertise and experience, not based on the least amount of sick days or amount of days spent in the office — Uniswap DAO should look to do the same.
There continues to be a healthy discussion in the proposal thread and we hope to see some measures implemented to address the above, and look forward to see how the proposal develops before it goes to an on-chain vote.
