February Voting Update
Uniswap Delegate Reward Initiative - Cycle 3
Michigan Blockchain is in support of the new Delegate Reward Cycle. There are a few updates that specifically stood out to us that we are in support of: The update on timely rationale writing and the increased points for on-chain voting, with the on-chain voting being increasingly important as we just saw the delegate rewards proposal for the Compound DAO fail due to lack of participation.
Furthermore, we also noted that some kind of objective score on participation would be good, but difficult to implement.
Seed Gov mentioned the Arbitrum Program Manager which we think is a good alternative to the current state of the Initiative, but believe that if this mechanism is implemented the Manager would have to be someone who is not applying as an individual/team to the Reward Initiative. Still comes down to if a thoughtful contribution is one that makes changes to a proposal or one that just provides thorough feedback.
