I am wondering if there is a group of eventual trusted people we can delegate our voting power to. I’m not sure how that would work, but maybe something to start thinking about now.

One place to keep an eye out is the Delegation Pitch category. Other well known people in the Ethereum community have offered to be delegates as well.
