Any news about fee switch ? Why is ok to turn on fees for uniswap team (see last updates…) and block fees for UNI token holders ?

As far as I understand, the main stumbling block is regulatory issues with the token in such case. Such revenue share would make it a dividend yielding asset, hence a security, so… Although I don’t know why not just use the revenue to buy back the token from the market and burn it, that can’t be considered dividends can it?
