The Uniswap Foundation Security Fund (UFSF) is currently accepting applications for its january 2026 Cohort.

The program supports projects that are:

  • Building on Uniswap v4

  • Deploying on Unichain

  • Or contributing to the broader Uniswap ecosystem

Selected projects can receive up to 100% subsidized security audits, conducted by leading, vetted security providers - with end-to-end guidance and coordination from Areta.

Our mission is to ensure every high-quality project in the Uniswap ecosystem has access to top-tier security support, ultimately strengthening the ecosystem’s safety and resilience.

Over the past year, the UFSF has supported 25+ projects with their security audits. This is an opportunity for new projects to join that growing list and receive comprehensive security assistance.

The Uniswap Foundation Security Fund (UFSF) is now accepting applications for the March 2026 cohort.

As the Uniswap ecosystem expands - particularly with teams building on Uniswap v4 hooks and integrating the Uniswap Trading APIs, the complexity of smart contract architecture continues to increase. Historically, smart contract exploits remain one of the most significant risk vectors in DeFi. A single overlooked edge case can materially impact user funds, protocol credibility, and long-term ecosystem trust.

The UFSF is designed to reduce security as a capital bottleneck for high-potential teams building within the Uniswap ecosystem.

Selected projects will receive:

  • A pre-audit security scan and tooling suite to identify vulnerabilities early

  • Up to 100% subsidy on a professional smart contract audit

  • End-to-end security guidance throughout the audit process, supported by Areta in collaboration with the Uniswap Foundation
