At the end of February, the UAC closed out the Incentive Package Budget account, along with all other accounts. By extension, the discretionary budget is no longer active. This decision stems from a general reorganization of some of the UAC’s historical mandates, namely, the operational responsibility for disbursing incentives across various chains. Due to emergent tax and legal complexities post-DUNI adoption, the UAC, in its subsequent seasons, does not intend to act as the entity responsible for disbursing cross-chain incentives—at least not in the manner that has been conducted historically.
The remaining account balance at the end of Feb amounted to 285,471 UNI, or $1,141,883 (@ UNI = $4). This capital was fully returned to the DUNI’s multisig, operated by the Ministerial Agent and Administrator. The UAC operations and incentive multisigs therefore hold zero UNI at the moment.
