We are excited to see that the Activating Uniswap Governance proposal brought forth by the Uniswap Foundation has definitively passed on [snapshot](https://snapshot.org/#/uniswapgovernance.eth/proposal/0xad7e3612d11d56b21f0b2274e4ce825163bc1873d0e2ef809a3a98733df992a7). The proposal marks an exciting new chapter in Uniswap governance. With the setOwner() amendment [snapshot](https://snapshot.org/#/uniswapgovernance.eth/proposal/0x3d8d2f44677c19f49a5bbe4466e4b50068b1a704861801d95384c898b1cbde54) still ongoing, we would like to clarify that the primary intention of the vote is to gather the opinions of other delegates and provide a signal of overall sentiment.
