Establish Uniswap v4 Licensing Process
Voted for the on chain proposal. We believe the proposal to establish the Uniswap v4 licensing process is a logical and necessary step for the protocol’s long-term success, supporting starting a community-driven process to manage license exemptions and prepare for the eventual transition of Uniswap v4 to complete open source in 2027. There will be more votes to establish exemptions for protocols or builders working with Uniswap to have access to build on our network. For example, prioritizing exemptions for chains co-funding liquidity programs and offer grants for public-good hooks. Overall, there will be a lot to consider, but this a great way to kickstart this campaign, onboarding more users while keeping the protocol safe.
