# Week of October 3, 2022

## Summary

We have one active, on-chain vote (see below), and several interesting discussions taking place.

Of note: A while back Uniswap protocol received $1m in $OP from the Optimism Foundation “to incentivize future growth within the Optimism ecosystem,” as @devinwalsh writes.

🗣 See [Devin’s post](https://gov.uniswap.org/t/rfc-the-optimism-uniswap-protocol-liquidity-mining-program/17820) and provide feedback on how the liquidity mining portion of the grant (80%) should be structured.

Proposal discussions:

- **Fund Uniswap DAO community operations through loans on Fringe Finance**. This [discussion continues](https://gov.uniswap.org/t/fund-uniswap-dao-community-operations-through-loans-on-fringe-finance/17740) from last week (see [summary](https://gov.uniswap.org/t/governance-weekly-recap/17803/2#proposals-3) above).
- **Here’s a request** to “add [Ethereum Fair and Ethereum POW](https://gov.uniswap.org/t/please-add-ethereum-fair-and-ethereum-to-the/17795) to the UI.”

On-chain votes:

- **Deploy Uniswap V3 on zkSync** ([2.25](https://app.uniswap.org/#/vote/2/25)). Franklin DAO is partnering with Matter Labs to put forward this proposal to deploy Uniswap V3 on zkSync “to support Uniswap’s multichain mission and expand cross-chain experiences.”

🗣 Voting for the above proposal ends on October 14.
