March Voting Summary
[Temp Check] Unichain and Uniswap v4 Liquidity Incentives
Voted: For
Description: Competing AMMs and L2s have demonstrated that early-stage liquidity incentive programs, when executed well, can meaningfully accelerate adoption and build initial network effects.
We’re supportive of this proposal because of the dynamic incentives adjusted every 2 weeks, transparent and measurable, and DAO governance of funds controlled in an Aera vault.
Gauntlet has a proven track record running similar programs, and at this stage, and we believe delaying or reopening this proposal at a later time would risk missing the critical window to make v4 and Unichain relevant. Further, Unichain is the only v4 instance with native revenue alignment to UNI holders via UVN staking. Success on Unichain directly benefits UNI tokenholders.
[Temp Check] Uniswap Unleashed
Voted: For
Description: We’re supportive of the Uniswap Foundation’s four priorities laid out in this proposal. We’ve already seen strong efforts from the Foundation, especially around growing the hook developer ecosystem, and believe that with the addition of LP incentives, there’s clear potential for the developer ecosystem, v4 and Unichain to scale together.
That said, we recognize the budget ask is significant and share some of the concerns raised by other delegates. However, we believe the Foundation has shown itself to be proactive and transparent in how it engages with the community. We’ll continue to engage closely with the Foundation to support and provide feedback on the execution of these goals.
Unichain and Uniswap v4 Liquidity Incentives
Voted: For
Description: We voted For on the Temp Check and continue to support this proposal on Tally. We believe dynamic incentives across v4 and Unichain will be necessary to kickstart liquidity migration and drive usage.
Voted: For
Description: We look forward to seeing the developments that come from this initiative and will continue observing and conversing alongside the multiple parties we engage with in the DAO to internally measure its success.
[Temp Check] Treasury Delegation Round 2
Voted: For
Description: Having served as a Uniswap delegate since the early days and being able to voice our opinions, votes and draft proposals, we recognize the importance of empowering motivated and engaged contributors through treasury delegations. We are supportive of the round 2 of treasury delegations.
That being said, we echo some concerns by Gauntlet and would be more supportive of a proposal that
- Establishes a clear 12-month program duration
- Introduces formal, transparent methods for delegate removal beyond simply failing to meet quantitative metrics. This process should be permissionless but led by the program managers.
- Reconsiders the mechanism for allocating the top-tier 2M delegation to be more subjective and put up for an election, as selecting the top 6 delegates purely based on narrow voting metrics is suboptimal and may not reflect true value-add.
[Temp Check] Saga Uniswap v3 Liquidity Incentives
Voted: For
Description: The Saga Foundation’s significant commitment of 2 million SAGA tokens per month (~$1M/month) and funding of Oku demonstrates clear alignment and skin in the game to bootstrap liquidity on Uniswap v3 within their ecosystem. While Uniswap is already the canonical DEX across chainlets, we believe an extra $250k $UNI could help improve the liquidity flywheel.
