FranklinDAO (Prev. Penn Blockchain) Delegate Platform

May Voting Summary

DeFi Education Fund Temp Check
We voted Abstain. Reasoning can be found below.

DeFi Education Fund Temp Check-Options
We voted For: 500k $UNI option.

DeFi Education Fund - On Chain Vote
We voted For: We initially voted Abstain on the Temp Check because of concerns over the 1M $UNI token donation amount. However, we recognize the achievements of DEF and the importance of legal advocacy and work in the coming years. While we would have preferred a smaller donation amount, we ultimately concluded that supporting DEF’s mission through this proposal is a worthwhile investment given that DEF uses its resources wisely and shares regular updates with the DAO.

[Temp Check] Onboard Uniswap to Redstone
We voted For: Deploy without incentives.

[Temp Check] Uniswap Delegate Reward - 3 Months-Cycle 1
We voted For. Reasoning can be found below.

Uniswap Delegate Reward - May 25th
We voted For: We believe that the proposed Uniswap Delegate Reward system is a great step toward increasing delegate engagement, not only in meeting objective metrics, but also encouraging more beneficial activity and exploration to improve the DAO. As other DAOs like Aave and Arbitrum have set up delegate reward programs, we believe it’s the right time to experiment and further strengthen delegate incentives. This will help take the burden off of delegates in terms of costs and help reward all the dedication top delegates have put into this DAO.

Update Uni v3/v2 Deployment Process (March 2024)

We voted for this proposal. The reasoning can be found below.

Update Uni v3/v2 Deployment Process (March 2024)

We voted for this proposal to streamline and enhance the efficiency of Uniswap’s deployment governance process. By granting the Uniswap Accountability Committee multisig the authority to manage the v3-deployments.uniswap.eth and v2deployments.uniswap.eth subdomains, we reduce the need for repetitive onchain votes for each new deployment, speeding up the process while maintaining oversight. The DAO will still retain ultimate control over the primary domain, uniswap.eth, and can revoke these permissions through a governance vote, ensuring a balanced approach to accountability and flexibility. This change aligns with our goal to optimize operational efficiency while preserving robust governance standards.
